![]() ![]() Think of the outer box as the "field of view" where the tracker looks for the point to follow. It totally depends what you're trying to accomplish - whether it is 2D or 3D tracking, whether you need to track rotation and scale, or only position. I have read many threads and have attempted their solutions. ![]() They are just juxtaposed on top of the clip. With that said, these are unclickable or useable points. If the track point, going frame by frame (you can analyze it that way, go frame by frame to test, and make sure that, on your next frame, the track point is still inside the outer bounding box, otherwise the tracker will lose it. It is possible to set more than one motion tracking marker on a piece of video in AE. The only way I am able to view the track points is when I click the 'Render Track Points' option in the effect options. The trackers shouldnt stray, as long as you've placed them on a point that has relatively decent contrast and a "point" of reference that moves - IMPORTANT - and stays - within the outer bounding box of the next discreet frame. Second, make sure Detailed Analysis is checked. There are Advanced options in the tracker panel, in terms of how the tracker will analyze the footage. In the Tracker panel, track forward or backward one frame at a time to ensure that tracking is functioning correctly, and then, click the button to begin analyzing all frames. Second, there are two bounding boxes, the inner box being the point you are tracking, the second, is the bias that AE will use to determine how much drift it will allow to maintain smooth motion / spline, or curve which requires zooming the footage and thus a loss of resolution. Do any combination of the following: To move the path or selected vertices, position the pointer inside the bounding box and drag. Offset Tracking - Retime - Artifact Clean Up - Rotoscope - Wire Removal - Marker Removal - Object Removal - Object Replacement - 2D/3D Camera Tracker - Quality Control - Grain - Dust Busting. Make sure your trackers are being applied to points that are trackable. ![]()
